Hello and Welcome to the Golden Arrow Day Camp Website! In our 55th year. we are a family-owned camp specializing in providing individualized attention, excellent service to our parents, small groups, a caring staff, transportation, and AT A LOW COST. We have beautiful facilities including central air-conditioning available to our campers. Our programs include daily swim lessons, a variety of sports, arts and crafts, music, and exciting weekly special events and trips.

Our facilities, located in Prospect Heights, IL, are geared towards children 4-13 years of age. We have a children's soccer field, 6 tennis courts, 2 basketball courts, 2 baseball/softball fields, 2 floor hockey arenas, a sand volleyball court, indoor gymnasium, and lots of room for all our other activities.

We have swim lessons daily for 40 minutes, followed by 40-50 minutes of free time where the campers can swim in our shallow areas, our 5 lane Olympic-sized lane pool, or go off our 150 foot double-twisting water slide. We also have 3 giant umbrellas for shade at the pool, as well as a complete refreshment stand.

We teach the children the rules and fundamentals of the sports, while our campers are enjoying the games they play. Our motto, "Happiness First, All Else Follows," is our staple. The children will be happy when they are enjoying the structure in which they are engaging. Our older children's groups are allowed to make their own choice from several activities every afternoon.

Our campers really look forward to our weekly special events. We go to arcades, have a DJ dance party, a trip to the zoo, trips to water parks, and many others including bowling and going to the movie theatre on rainy days.

Overall, Golden Arrow Day Camp hopes to provide an exciting SUMMER OF FUN! Our competent staff will teach our campers how to enjoy the variety of the different aspects of camp. We hope to attend to each child's special needs. I, Rick Tadelman, the owner and director of Golden Arrow Day Camp, have been working at our family-owned camp for 40 years.
