Breaking the Mold

Breaking the Mold is a contemporary ceramics studio committed to providing a family friendly atmosphere that promotes fun and creativity. The studio is co-owned by Delynn and Annette with help from both of our families. We have been part of the Sun Prairie business community since May of 2005.

Clients choose from our extensive selection of bisque items and use our paints to decorate their projects. Once completed, we dip-glaze and fire the items in our digital kiln to 1828 degress so that the paint has a glossy, food safe finish. Pictured are Kim and Lizzie painting mugs as gifts for Lizzie's preschool teachers.

We are also able to take the shop to you for an event in your home, church or organization.

Children have an apportunity to interact with their family and friends while they are being creative. They can have a positive experience making something special that they can treasure forever or give as a gift to someone they love.

This is also a great place to bring a date. Ceramics allows for interaction while creating a momento of the day as well.

There are never any sitting fees at Breaking the Mold.
