"After working for dealerships for the last 35 years," Corky says, "I felt it was time for an old time repair shop where you could talk to the mechanic and feel secure in the fact that you would be treated fairly."

Corky's MCP was conceived because, in this day and age, it's becoming more difficult to find an honest, dependable automotive repairman. Also, many shops refuse to work on older vehicles because of the difficulty when locating parts.

OUR CUSTOMERS safety is of the utmost importance to us. If problems are detected, we let you know, to allow you to make an informed choice as to when to take care of it without pressure to have the work done right away. If the needed repair would present a serious driving hazard, we would suggest immediate action be taken.

OUR TECHNICIANS, Corky and his son, Tim, perform general automotive repair, transmission repair and transmission service on most makes and models of automobiles, vans & trucks. (Excluding European models). Corky's sister, Nancy, runs the office. We are a completely family owned and operated business.

PERFORMANCE TUNING & REPAIR of high performance "MUSCLE" cars from the 50's, 60's, 70's, 80's & 90's is our specialty. Baracuda, Camaro, Charger, Chevelle, Corvette, Dart/Swinger, GTO, Monte Carlo, Mustang, Nova, Road Runner, T-Bird, Valiant and many other Classic and High Performance Cars.

CLASSIC & ANTIQUE RESTORATION of collector vehicles is another of our specialties. We have recently restored a 1968 "General Lee" Dodge Charger to it's former glory. Check out our slide show for photos. The owner has not gotten the flag or lettering done as of this posting. We will add new photos later.

CLASSIC CAR SLIDE SHOW, above, is just some of the great Classic Cars our loyal customers have brought in for repairs and service. Our newest addition is the beautiful Red 1969 Camaro SS 396 & the not quite finished 'General Lee' 68 Charger. We truly enjoy and get great satisfaction from working on these wonderful older cars.

THE DRAG RACING VIDEO ABOVE is Corky's 1967 Plymouth Barracuda in an actual race. He rescued this car back in the late '70's from a salvage yard and completely rebuilt it himself. Other than the paint job (it's had two), he has performed all the body and mechical work on his car. Corky's still racing and participated in the 2008 SE Summit Racing ET Series, as a member of the Gainesville Raceway Team, held at the Atlanta Dragway in Commerce, Georgia, on October 8th, 9th & 10th.

AUTO BODY REPAIR & PAINTING SERVICE is not currently available. We are planning to expand into these areas in the near future. We will be specializing in project cars as part of our renovation services. We will keep you posted as to when we are able to begin accepting body & paint work
